About me

I am a 25 years old italian architect.

During my studies I always tried to be a careful and aware designer.

Since it's fundamental to consider the context you operate in, in addition to the environmental and social impacts that every project generates, I base my modus operandi on a deep site analysis.

I am used to work in team, so I developed strong organizational skills. Furthermore, working with deadlines accentuated my aptitude to problem solving and my optimism even under pressure.

The experiences abroad contributed to open my mind and to develop my languages.

Currently I live in Amsterdam, where I am working in an international company that covers the full spectrum of the architectural field through several scale projects.

Aptitude

Passion for Architecture is a constant in my life, which goes on with my formation.

My favourite themes are all about sustainability: environmental, economical, social.

In the planning process the phase of analysis and concept are the ones where I feel more talented, but I can also handle the other phases, including the physical elaboration of a project.

In the urban-architecture-design huge panorama, the subjects I know and like more are public space, landscape design, temporary exhibitions, shops, installations.

In the end, an inclination which is at the same time pleasure, dream and passion is reading and writing about architecture.

Conferences

-11/12/2015, Attendance to the conference "Urban planning and financial crisis, possible scenarios", organized by C. Mariano and L. V. Ferretti, my Master thesis tutors at Sapienza University of Rome.

The conference interventions generated an interesting debate about the role of urban planning in the urgency caused by the crisis from 2008. This was also the subject of the Master Thesis Project I developed with my colleagues Lorenzo Blasi and Giovanni Vergantini.

Workshops

-2014, Attendance to the Workshop "Integrated Planning and Design for Sustainable Urban Peripheries in Europe", in collaboration with IMLA (International Master of Landscape Architecture), about the role of landscape planning to connect periphery areas.

- 2014, Attendance to the study-trip to Figuig, Morocco, during research project called "Architecture, development and heritage" in collaboration with the ULB (University of Brussels). The work's aim was to explore African city's public spaces between use and project and the issue of heritage.

- 2013, Attendance to the international workshop "Super Solar Studio S3", in collaboration with the University of Liechtenstein, about the requalification of the disused area of Guido Reni in Rome with energetic sustainability principles.
