During a seminary class named "Architecture, Development and Patrimony" the case of study was the traditional islamic house in compacted earth.

During a trip in Figuig, small village in Morocco, in the desert close to the Algerian border, we found and analyzed several examples.

The purpose was to investigate housing and public space typologies to prevent the spread of using concrete, which does not fit to a desert climate nor to the tradictional urban image.
